This Sleepy Eyed Frog in herb garden glaze is a plant tender or watering spike. It is ceramic and designed to keep flower garden containers or potted house plants watered without constant attention. They also help avoid overwatering houseplants. Aqua spikes are easy to use, just insert the cone spike into the soil and fill the reservoir with water. The soil absorbs the water through the porous cone, just fill the reservoir when needed. Plant sitters work well to keep plants watered while you are away.  

The sleepy eyed frog plant tender measures 6” tall overall X 2 1/2" wide. The head is removable so the remaining body of the frog can be filled with water. The opening at top of the body is approx. 1 1/4" diameter, the drainage spike that is inserted into the soil is approx. 2 1/4" long.   

This plant tender is made of hand cast with clay slip and fired in my kiln. Each piece is glazed by hand and fired in my kiln a second time.  All glaze used is non-toxic. Made in the USA.
