Quilt Strip Chicken Shelf Sitter.

This little chicken is an original creation of mine. I came up with the idea several years ago and have a lot of fun making them.

The chicken shelf sitter is made of cotton fabric strips that have been stitched together, the back is a solid piece of fabric that coordinates with the front color theme. The knobby knee legs and head comb are made of jute, the beak is felt and I used some fun wiggly eyes. The chicken is weighty at the bottom, it has the feel of a bean bag.

The hen is designed to sit on the edge of a shelf or table, they can also sit on the edge of your computer monitor or cubie railing at work. Made to be cheery and fun and they won’t take up a lot of space. A must for any chicken collector!

The chicken is approximately 5 1/5” wide x 12” long.

Available in a variety of colors.  Yellow.
