Product Description
This ceramic hanging hummingbird feeder is made of slip cast ceramic eartheware and glazed in a color glaze resembling confetti. Each feeder has built in loops and a decorative chain is used to hang it. The feeder is hand cast and fired in my kiln. All glaze used on this feeder is non-toxic.
The hanging hummingbird feeder measures:
- 4 1/2 inches in diameter at the widest point
- 6 1/2 inches long without the feeding tube.
This feeder has a feeder end that fits snugly in the bottom of the feeder so hummingbirds can obtain the nectar. The feeder holds 3 cups or 24 ounces of nectar. The trick to using this style feeder is to completely fill the feeder with cool nectar, then place the feeder tube into the end and turn it upright creating a vacuum, this helps to keep the nectar from dripping. The hummingbird feeder has built in loops for easy hanging, a decorative brass chain is included so all you need to do is fill and watch the hummingbirds feast!
