This cobweb dish is made of kiln fired ceramic clay, each piece is hand painted with black underglaze and sealed with lead free glaze. The black body spider with brown legs is finished with the same lead free glaze used on the dish. I have been making tea bag holders since 2004 and have a variety of colors & themes available. This tea bag rest is made of domestic ceramic slip, each piece is cast from a plaster mold for uniformity and kiln fired.  I use many techniques and products to achieve the finished piece you see.  The glaze used to finish this piece is lead free and food safe.
