All domestic shipping times noted are approximate estimates and may change due to unforeseen delays. All time noted on this site are 'business work days', Saturday, Sunday & holidays are not included in the shipping time estimates.

When will my order ship?

In-stock* items: My goal is to ship your order in approximately 2 - 3 business work days after full payment is received, variable by current order loads. "Made to order" items require longer make ready time. "Made to order" shipping times are noted in the item description and is only an estimated time. All time noted is based on 'business work days'. Please allow for delivery time once your order is shipped, this can range from 2 - 3 days for Priority Mail, 3 -5 days for First Class Domestic or 6 - 15 days for Parcel Post. All delivery times are per the USPS and are only approximate and are subject to change without notice.

How are shipping & handling charges determined?

Shipping charges are based on the weight of an item shipped to a single address. Shipping is calculated by the USPS based on the zone of the delivery address. Shipping & handling fees are combined, handling fees are added to cover the cost of boxes and packing & mailing materials.
Domestic Orders
Domestic orders are shipped via the United States Postal Service. Your choice of shipping include: Priority Mail Service (Delivery Confirmation is included), Parcel Post with Delivery Confirmation or First Class Mail Parcel*, Insurance is optional, however it is recommended. Due to our rural location we do not offer next day delivery. *Weight limitations apply per USPS.

Shipping Addresses
How are shipping/handling charges applied to multiple addresses?

Shipping charges are applied based on the weight of the item(s) shipped to a single address. If an order is shipped in multiple packages or a back-ordered item is shipped at a later date, there are no additional shipping charges.

Please keep in mind ceramic pottery is breakable and must be packed so you will receive it in one piece. A small handling fee is combined with the shipping charge to cover the cost of boxes, packing & mailing materials needed to ship your order.
Insurance, Taxes & Fees

Insurance & Damaged Items.

Your order is packed with great care, however once a package leaves our hands we cannot be certain how it is treated, therefore it is recommended that you purchase insurance. If your purchase is insured (by you or THCC) and arrives damaged please contact me immediately at info@texashillcountryceramics.com to begin the claims process. Be sure to retain all packaging materials and the item, the postal inspector will need to see and will retain the damaged items to process the claim. Failure to provide these items or cooperate with the claims process may result in your claim becoming invalid.

Taxes or Fees.

Buyers are responsible for any sales tax, duty or fee associated with the shipment. We will not value any item shipped lower than its invoice price.
Payment Options
The following payment options are available:

Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express, PayPal*, Personal Check, Money Order or Cashiers Checks, Cash.

All Payments must be for exact amount of purchase in US Dollars. Orders using non-credit card payment options will be cancelled if payment has not been received within 5 business days from order date or at THCC's discretion. If using a PayPal 'e-check' for payment orders will not be shipped until the 'e-check' clears. This may take from 3 - 10 days. We have no control over an e-check clearing, this is a PayPal policy.

Returned bank checks (personal or cashiers) are subject to a return fee of $45.00 and will be forwarded to the county attorney for collection, credit card reversals are subject to a $50.00 recovery fee per transaction in addition to other fees or amounts that may be incurred.

Money orders that are found to be counterfeit will be turned over to the appropriate law enforcement agency and/or USPS Postal Inspectors. Applicable recovery fees will be assessed on a case by case basis.

Order Cancellation and Refused Shipments:
Cancellation of orders: Orders placed and paid with a credit card and cancelled by the card holder for any reason are subject to a cancellation fee of $7.50 plus 15% of the original transaction amount, this fee cannot be waived. Orders that are refused and returned are considered cancelled orders.
Refused Shipments: Refused delivery of an order is an Order Cancellation. Refused shipments that are returned are subject to a $7.50 cancellation fee plus a 20% restocking fee. Initial shipping and handling fees are not eligible for refund and additional return shipping costs incurred will also be deducted. We can not guarantee the final disposition of any orders where the customer or recipient has refused delivery.
Special Orders/Merchandise Availability
Texas Hill Country Ceramics accepts special orders. Special orders require a deposit of 50% before the order is started. Special orders are not eligible for return or refunds.
Texas Hill Country Ceramics & Gifts reserves the right to offer, at any time, all or part of our merchandise assortment via our Website. Texas Hill Country Ceramics & Gifts reserves the right to add or remove items from our Website, at any time at our discretion. Some items may indicate an 'in-stock' status in error.
Return Policy
All returns require a Return Authorization Number (RAN). Eligible items must be returned within 15 days of receipt. The receipt or delivery date is determined by the delivery confirmation issued by the carrier used to deliver the item. To obtain a RAN please contact Texas Ceramics by email at info@texashillcountryceramics.com. Items returned without a RAN will be refused. Refunds will be issued for eligible merchandise* only using the same payment method used to make the purchase provided the items are returned undamaged and un-used. Lotion or soap dispensers that have been used are not acceptable for return or refund. For your protection please insure and obtain delivery confirmation on return packages. Special Orders, replacement pumps, night light switches and night light bulbs or Christmas Tree light bulbs are not eligible for return. *Returned orders are subject to a restocking fee of 20% of the merchandise amount. Please contact Texas Ceramics if you have any questions. Exchanges are not subject to restocking fees.
Packing items for return: It is the responsibility of the recipient to pack returns properly. Pack the item into a shipping box with plenty of packing material and tape securely. Items inside the shipping box should include all items originally sent with the order. Write the RAN issued clearly on the outside of the shipping box. Please ship your box to the address provided in your written instructions. COD or Freight Collect shipments will not be accepted.
