This Santa Claus teapot is made of hand cast earthenware using a vintage mold that is no longer made. This teapot is well detailed, the handle of the teapot is a small Christmas tree, under the tree is Santa's bag of presents and toys, resting on top of the bag and next to the tree is a teddy bear, the bear is sitting on the packages that are in the bag. The teapot spout is the right arm of Santa that is extended out ringing a bell. The lid is the top section of Santa's cap with the white fluffy edge, the lid has a built in stop to help keep it on the pot when pouring, I recommend holding the lid to keep it from slipping unexpectedly.

This teapot is reminiscent of a traditional looking Santa Claus with a white beard, friendly grin and a little twinkle in his eye. Santa is dressed in a traditional red suit, off white gloves and black boots. Around his jolly belly is a black belt, his red suit is trimmed with white.
