Teapot with Texas Bluebonnet Wildflowers Original Hand Painted Design Made in the Texas Hill Country

This country style ceramic teapot with hand painted Texas Bluebonnets and Indian Paintbrush wildflowers is ideal for serving hot or cold beverages at any tea party or gathering.  The hand painted Texas wildflowers is my original design and made in the USA.   This teapot is made of slip cast ceramic earthenware using a ceramic mold for uniformity and kiln fired.  The bluebonnet design is handpainted using non-toxic underglazes and food safe non-toxic glaze.  The entire teapot is glazed so it completely waterproof, it may be washed in the dishwasher but hand washing is recommended.

This teapot is made to be used, this teapot is cast a little thicker and therefore is stronger and great for keeping tea hot.  Thicker teapots help retain warmth of the beverage.  The handle of this teapot is also cast solid so no pot holder is needed when pouring the beverage. 

The teapot measures:

• 8 1/2 inches from the end of the handle to the spout,
• 5 1/2 inches in diameter at the widest point,
• 4 inches tall without lid,
• 5 inches tall with lid 

The base of the teapot measures:

• 3 inches in diameter
• the top is 3 1/4 inches in diameter.

The lid measures:

• 1 3/4 inches tall including the top knob,
• approximately 5/8 inch of the lid rim fits into the teapot,

The teapot holds approximately 4 cups or 32 ounces comfortably.
